It’s not just premature summer nostalgia that’s hitting me—this is the reality: summer is drawing to a close. And with it, the season for one of my favourite fruits, the sweet pink peaches. 🍑 It just so happens that our client, Lita in Marylebone, has created an exquisite Peach Sidecar to celebrate this beloved fruit and the summer season.I’m thrilled to have connected with Luxury London Media, who has featured this co*cktail as the “Best co*cktail of the Week”!So, London friends, if you’re nearby, don’t miss out—head over to Lita and sip it while you still can. It might just be the last call! Or you can try making it yourselves at home, check out the recipe in the article🍸https://lnkd.in/dKkUZCix

-In countries with higher wine consumption, people tend to live longer (Italy and France lead the way in longevity).-The optimal amount of wine for women to benefit from is one glass per day, while men up to two. 🍷-The high concentration of compounds like tannins and proanthocyanidins, found in grape stones, plays a crucial role in health by offering protection against heart and vascular diseases. 🫀(As with all aspects of life, balance is the key to a healthy lifestyle.)These are just a few interesting facts about #wine that I discovered during my visit to the Museo delle Langhe at Grinzane Cavour Castle, nestled in the #Langhe (Piedmont’s region). 🏰It was an amazing opportunity to learn about the health benefits of quality wine (when consumed with consciousness) and explore the territory; its grape cultivations, white truffle hunts, and rich history—all immersed in the vast hilled landscape painted with autumn’s orange shades. 🍂The castle served as the residence and HQ of General Cavour during the decision-making process for Italy’s future as a united nation in 1861. It's the same place where he decided to make Alba’s grapes known worldwide and compete with the big French names. He meticulously revitalised the vineyards with the help of Paolo Francesco Staglieno, famous expert agronomist and oenologist. And they successfully achieved their mission: exporting names like Barolo, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto d’Alba worldwide, affirming them as classics of quality Piedmont wines to this day.👀🇮🇹A must-visit spot when exploring this beautiful territory, and, of course, a taste of white truffle during this season is mandatory along the way.https://lnkd.in/d-NqTNhe
