I had this question yesterday -- 'doesn't the student loan match go into effect 2025 or later...?'There are a lot of Secure 2.0 provisions live right now. From Jan 2023 to today, a majority of the heavy hitting provisions went into place. LTPT -- check <--- the struggle bus is real with this one!Student Loan Matching -- check!Emergency Savings Account -- check!Auto Portability -- check! If you are not sure which provisions are in your plan, you should review pretty soon.     Digging into the Vanguard - How America Saves 2024 report! Unbelievable information for nerds like myself!BUT......I am struck by one of the first pieces of data.....25% of trading days in 2023 saw a change in +/- 1% compared to 48% in 2022. AND, no trading day saw a +/- 3% change in 2023. There is a lot to how that happens.     Interesting stats to start your Wellness Wednesday --76% of employers offer some sort of equity compensation. 67% of participants would attend a session on how to maximize their stock plan benefit for retirement. If you are offering equity comp, your employees want more education. In fact, they are asking you to provide education on how the total compensation package can provide a dignified retirement. The truly interesting part - most employees will not ask for the equity comp training. They will try to find it on their own. As employers, the opportunity is to provide a fun and upbeat training/education session that employees appreciate.
