We must have our greens EVERY SINGLE DAY! It is very important! Especially ifwe suffer from disempowerment, depression oranxiety it's important we consume natural anti-depressants and anti-oxidants and then we can't help but feel better! When we eat some foods that are 'bad' for us we feel guilty, we know deep down they are notdoing our body justice. When we eat greens we do not feel guilty, because we know it is doing us sooooo good!

We all know for sure that we need proper nutrition every single day to enjoy a healthy body and good life. But sometimes we get caught up and it's not easy and before we know it a few days have gone by and we haven't had any fresh greens. I wanted to share with you my four favorite green recipes that are worth spending time and energy incorporating intoyour life.

The first recipe is for one of my favorite GREEN JUICE recipes!It is super simple and you can make it in 10 minutes or less. To get through the drudge of cleaning the juice machine, use that time to be present in your body and really feel your body absorbing all the green nutrients you just put into it! This recipe is also very easy to remember! If you don't want to make it, invest in buying itfrom a juice bar every single day. Some people have the "All or nothing" mentality but that can keep you trapped in never actually starting. I told myself everyday for 5 years, 'I will start again tomorrow, tomorrow I will be healthy and I will never eat junk foods again.' I waited until I just woke up and my cravings for junk foods were just magically gone, but that never happened andit kept me stuck in a vicious cycle of binge eating!

Even if you change nothing else in your diet, even if you still eat processed food, just commit to having one fresh juice every single day! It's important to have juice every single day because it gives you high doses of nutrition at a very cellular level.

2. GREEN SMOOTHIE

You can make this in 10 minutes or less in the blender! Thisone is absolutely delicious and refreshing... not to mention packed with greens!

Ingredients:

1 green apple, peeled and cored
2 cups spinach

1 cup kale

1/4 cup fresh cilantro
1 mango, seed removed
1 frozen bananas
3 dates


Action:
1. Blend all ingredients together in aVITAMIXor other powerful food processor. Add water if needed.

3. Phresh Greens with Lemon Water

1. Squeeze one lemon into 2 cupsof water.

2. Mix 1 teaspoon Phresh Greens into the lemon water.

This drink can be made in less than 1 minute! It is excellent for people on the go to get all the essential greens we need.

4. EPIC GREEN SALAD

Makes 1 epically massive salad for 1-4 people! Get creative with this. Add watermelon and pear to make it sweeter. Make it bright!

Ingredients:
½ a lettuceripped into smaller pieces
½ a kale ripped into smaller pieces
10 raw asparagus

1 cup spinach

1 handful fresh parsley
1 large radish finely sliced
1 avocado cut into cubes or slices
1 cucumber chopped into cubes
1 clove of garlic diced
1 green chilli chopped into small pieces
1 small piece of ginger diced
1 purple onion chopped in thin slices
1 cup of alfalfa sprouts
1green apple chopped into thin slices
1 celery stalk chopped into cubes

1 lemon, juiced for the dressing

2-3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil for dressing

Action:
1. Combine all ingredients together and toss in a bowl!
2. Drizzle with olive oil and a squeeze of a lemon for the dressing.

Other than that just grab whole vegetables that are green and eat them every day as a quick snack, it is super clean energy and you will feel so proud of yourself for doing so! Go for asparagus, cucumber and celery or even fresh parsley and cilantro from your garden or pot plant in your kitchen!
