Stayed in one of the lakeside cabins for 5 nights. The resort is great and the warm pools are fantastic. We did the quad biking which was great with a really friendly guide. My daughter loved the horse riding. Lots of wildlife around the resort which is great to see. I am only giving 4 stars however and not 5 as our AC in the chalet was incredibly noisy through the night. The motor outside defo sounds like it could do with some TLC. Apart from that great stay.

Excellent for weekend getaways. We camped in a tent. The price is worth it. The stand was immaculate. It was paved and had a shade net. Ablution facilities were clean with hot running water. There were cleaners that cleaned your dishes daily and workers who assisted with pitching your tent for a small fee. The swimming pools were pristine. Lots of rules but that actually lends to you having a lovely peaceful camping experience.

Love this place, would definitely go again and recommend for people with or without children, young couples and elderly. Warm water swimming pools indoors and outside, putt-putt 18 holes, water slides, restaurant, mountain hiking trails, paddle boats and lots more to do! Food in the restaurant is great and view is amazing. Everything is clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. Self catering rooms are nice and cozy and cleaned everyday. Enjoy the nature around

Lost a star for the very noisy ( I think) generator behind the ablution at campsite 1. Spotless bathrooms, large shower cubicle, with a mirror! Thermal indoor pool , lots of chlorine tho. Outside warm pool and pristine cold pool. Camping options. Small stands. Various chalet options. We'll stocked shop with a restaurant overlooking the water flowing down from a stunning wooden deck area. Small lake with pedal boats. Bicycles allowed. Pricey accommodation but superbly run.

Its a beautiful place, amazing service and just so much fun! Great place to take kids or family... It does get quite busy but it's nice there! Can't wait to go again! The food is nice, there is a nice little shop where they sell food and toys it's nice! There is also horse riding, Qaud biking and a fancy restaurant. The food is very good at the restaurant!Very nice place would recommend!

Rooms very old and small. Kitchen suitable for 1 person at the time. Stove new and advance. All bedrooms are upstairs wooden stairs are used to go there it doesn't feel safe and comfortable. Toilet and shower put together in less than 1 metre wall to wall, suitable for slender people. House keeping clean rooms daily no change of towels, soap and toilet papers. To enjoy the place you need to be out of the apartment most of the time. Uncle Sam tried his best to make the game drive interesting. My children enjoyed the quad bikes and paintball with uncle Lucas. My advice basic amenities like bath towels, soaps and toilet paper must be provided daily as a basic self catering needs. This is my first and last visit to this place I rather go to adventura.

Awesome.Enjoyed this place a lot. The indoor heated pool was very nice, and the rooms are just very neat and clean. The sceneries are very beautiful, and the monkeys are a must-see in the mornings. Will definitely come back. Keep it up Klein Kariba.

Awesome atmosphere, friendly staff and great service from the reception all the way to the security members posted around the facility till at the gate on entry and exit. The only issue was that the cleaning ladies who had to service the house had to be chased around since they would clean Frickies house next door to us and just walk past our house. So we constantly had to make sure we were in the house till they came just to ensure that our unit was serviced. They would always say that there are just too many units that they have to clean so they are tired

We had a very short stay at the log cabins next to the dam. It was a great experience. The resort is well maintained. Plenty of things to do apart from swimming in the heated pools, including fishing, hiking and horse riding.

I have been there for 2 nights in 2 sleeper challet, the environment and the entertainments were quite satisfactory ( e.g. great view of the dam side and nice hiking routes, horse riding, warm pools,… all managed well and clean) the apartment needs to be refurbished , specially worn out bed sheets that makes you feel a very bad senses (I found hairs on the sheets as well), even when I asked them to replace the sheets and pillow cases, it was still quite old and worn out. They may need to replace them after using them for years…!No AC in the room, only small mobile fans

Very well run. The service is thoughtful and thorough from everyone on the property. Beautiful scenery with plenty options for both fun and relaxation especially if you use a bike to get between activities. I especially loved the horse riding. And I wish I used the restaurant more as they do offer delivery options as well to the chalets with great food and service at an affordable rate. The guy doing the entertainment at the pool is always such a laugh. Just be careful of the ticks but the hikes are well worth the risk

Safe holiday destination with little kids. Enjoyed the hot pools. Very friendly staff. Neat en clean ablution facilities, but the baboons are a huge problem

This place is awesome. Fresh air from the mountain. Especially when you are in Mountain Cabins.You also get fresh air from the dam if you are in Log Cabins. Excellent place to spend your holiday in.The only downside is the language they use when entertaining guests around the pools and in the hall. They use Afrikaans onlyI think when entertaining guests, both Afrikaans and English should be used to accommodate everyone

We are a family of 4 and rented one of the log cabins. The cabin was beautiful right on the dam and a decent size. While the cabin was not badly kitted out, I would suggest taking your own cutting knives and boards, and there are no jugs or containers to store anything in.We also did the quad bike eco drive which was lots of fun, but the track is quite challenging and suited better to someone a little more fit.The weather was cooler so we used the indoor heated pool which is lovely, but gets a bit too hot after a while. No need to worry when getting out though, the pool is fully enclosed and it's kept quite warm inside too.The resort is very big and so it's easiest to drive to the different entertainment areas, but the roads are well maintained so that's easy to do.All together we had a great time and will go back again.

A beautiful getaway for the whole family, or if you just want a getaway with your romantic partner. There are many activities to choose from, such as hiking trails, a relaxing horse ride or an adventurous quad bike ride through the veld. There are a wide range of pool choices, from indoor to outdoor heated pools and regular swimming pools. The rooms were clean and rustic, containing all the cutlery and cooking wear you need for a self catering chalet. Beware the monkeys and baboons who love to visit the trash cans lol, but the zebra and game make up for it!

Had a fantastic time. Relived childhood memories. Sad to see the Marula trees have been removed but I understand why. Still had a fun time and interacting with the staff was just a pleasure. Had lunch from the restaurant and it was so nice. Looking forward to our next visit with the whole family.Hope to see a new water slide or so soon ;-)

It was lovely. We did the tent camping. It's a beautiful, tranquil place. Good for peace of mind and thinking. Loved the heated indoor pool. Was perfect for Saturday night when it rained and suddenly became cold. Their bathroom facilities are tops. Really the best bathroom facilities I have experienced at camping site. Safety was not a concern at all and they have so many activities on site. Beautiful weekend.

Butbecauseofalltheneedlessrules,Idon'tthinkwewouldchoosetogothereagain. 1.Ourchildrenwereforbiddenfromsubmergingthemselvesintheheatedindoorpool,butwhenotherchildrenofa"certaincolor"didso,noonespokeoutagainstit. 2.Becausemyfamilymemberwasnotdressedina"swimsuit,"butratherincyclingshortsandavest,shewasdeniedentrytothepool. Whatimpactdoesthathaveonyourpool,please? Whathappenstothosewhoarerestrictedbytheirreligion,too?3. We were warned about our noise levels on the very first day we arrived , which is understandable, but then again there were other 3 groups of people of a "certain colour" who were also making noise yet they were not told to stop their music even after 11pm!!!4. It also seems that the cleaning staff are "trained" not to greet or converse with people of "colour"5. The rules at the pool clearly stated no eating and drinking, yet when a group of people were drinking ALCOHOL there, nothing was said!!!So thank you for the weekend but you can keep the facilities to yourself!!!

What a lovely place Klein-Kariba is! Wish we were able to stay for longer (*hint, hint, you guys need some CRAZY specials for us poor people that really want to be there🤣).Rooms and services are fantastic, neat, clear, modern, has everything you need. And there ARE SO MANY things to do at the resort itself, never mind loads of attractions nearby. 10/10 recommend, would love to come again soon!!

Loved loved this place. Kids had so much fun. Well kept, neat and clean! Log cabin beautiful and everything you need in there. (Only thing I wish they would have, for families with young kids especially, if there was a little gate at the top of the stairs in the log cabins) Friendly staff. Holiday program at the pool was nice. Definitely will be back.
